8/3/2023 0 Comments Hotels near peek n peakLift tickets are reasonable at $49-$63 per day for adults and kids between 6 and 11 are $39-$49, but unfortunately Peek n Peak doesn’t offer a “buy in advance” discount, like most resorts are going to. We are always entertained there for a day or two, but not much more. It is prone to getting a lot of snow and has nice lodging options. Peek n’ Peak is fun, family-friendly, and easy to get to. They also offer a Sunday Brunch that looks great, but I haven’t tried it. I definitely recommend it if you are there for dinner. The menu is extensive and the food is REALLY good. Inside the Inn there is a restaurant called Bistro 210, named for the 210 inches of snow fall they average at Peek n’ Peak. There is another base lodge area called the Sugar Shack at the bottom of Lift 8 that has its own restaurant and a fully stocked bar. But it also houses a big picnic area that you can bring your own lunch to save a few buck. The main lodge has a moderately priced, serve-yourself restaurant with a good menu selection. It does tend to get a bit icy in the afternoons, but mornings are filled with well groomed corduroy. Morning skiing will give you the most satisfaction for time on slope versus time in line.īecause of the proximity to Erie, PA, you can expect a good amount of Lake Effect snow, and when it dumps, it DUMPS. With 8 chair lifts and 2 surface lifts, there is a good amount of people moving, but because these lifts are low speed lifts and the relatively short runs, the lift lines can get a bit long. None of the runs are extremely steep or challenging, but based on the locale there is a nice pitch and some fun cruisers. The runs are intermediate heavy, with nearly 50% of the runs being blues. Since there is only 400 feet of vertical, parks are where its at. They definitely take their terrain maintenance seriously at the PknPk. There are 27 runs at Peek n’ Peak, including 4 terrain parks that range from a beginner area park to a heavy duty big boy park.
